Old program registers as virus
« on: September 27, 2010, 07:00:42 PM »
Hello, I have a program that runs in Wang Basic language that I absolutely need. It registers as a virus every time I access it. I tried to add the file to exclusion but Avast still catches it. I have unmarked "scan .exe and .dll programs" from the file scanner, this works okay but a box still pops up saying the .exe and .dll are viruses. I just click X on the box to then run the program.

Do you know how to make the program run without Avast catching it.

These are the files:
C:\Windows\system32\drivers\ISDrv118.sys
C:\Windows\linkinfo.dll

After running my own process RTIWIN32.exe <--which is the BASIC program

upload the files to www.virustotal.com and scan with 43 malware scanners
when you have the result, copy the URL in the address bar and post it here
