Sandbox slows browser launch

I have had this one before
If I launch FF 3.6.10 or IE 8 in the sandbox there is a delay of several seconds, without any activity showed by the sys tray Avast icon
If I launch outside of the sandbox everything is normal, ie no delay at all.
It started yesterday

Current defs  100924-0

last time it went away eventually

in Expert Settings, please click on "delete contexts" button... did it help?

I also did a restart, no change

Interesting that you can run FF3.6.10 at all in the Sandbox - even with a startup delay.  I would settle for that, but some of us are not that lucky! (Ref to still open topic on Sandbox/FF problem).

ok, what if you uncheck "Store files in special..." in Expert settings? (no restart is needed)

I think it's sorted now

I deleted the browsers from the virtualized process one at a time.
Launched browser etc & then added to VP again

Seems ok

Ok it's 3 days on and the slow down has started again
I will now try the last suggestion by PK

Could you please tell me more about that delay? Do you mean startup delay, page loading delay, random freeze, ...?
It's interesting that both browsers are affected...

What I notice is 'start up delay'
Both browsers are fine if I 'start up' outside sandbox

It depends how long I let the problem go on for
When I 1st posted it was about 3/4 secs, today it was about 2

Could you please try to uncheck "Store files..." setting from Expert Settings and run the browser again? Is it better or not? Thanks.

Did that (post 6) and it is better but not perfect.

If it would help I could turn all back on then wait until it got very bad
Send some sort of log back, turn sandbox off then send log
