Avast EPS Sandbox problem
« on: July 05, 2013, 12:46:40 AM »
Heya.  I've been running avast EPS - it's a very nice application in my opinion, but I have been having a problem with the sandbox.  I have a couple of small custom applications I made which I run once a day to do some maintenance tasks.  Avast tries to auto-sandbox them, which is understandable, so I added them to the sandbox exclusion list.  This works for the ext execution, but the the exclusion list gets cleared.  I have tried adding them to the local and SOA exclusion lists, and both seem to just reset.

Has anyone else had this problem, or know how to fix it?  The continual sand-boxing of these applications is getting very frustrating...

Thanks.

Update to the v8 engine and add the path for these files to the global exclusion list and that should be retained indeffinately  :)
