registering Avast Home Ed. the second time.

 :'( i'm trying to reregister and it wont let me put those 3 letters in at the bottom of the form am i doing something wrong i'm puttin it in how it shows but it doesnt seem to want to go through. its very annoying? anybody know what i'm doing wrong

Entereing the liscense key is more then 3 letters.
Right click on the a in the system tray and then follow the picture.

I suggest you use copy and paste and make sure not to copy any extra spaces.

ok but thats not what i'm talking  about i have to reregister to get a new key and at the bottom it has to enter 3 letters such as LLM or something like that, but when i put those letters it just takes me back with that part in red like it didnt accept it. i know how to put the key once i get it so thats not a problem my problem is trying to get my new key

Did you fill all required fields before?
Is there any error message or just the confirmation letters are wrong?

ok now when i try it goes to a can not display page and on the page u know how u can see what page u have open the ie says what it is well it say server busy so i dont know if its just the avast server because i have everything filled out .

We're having the same problem. We had our Avast pop-up telling us the key expited. I have tried for two days to renew it. It won't take the 3 letter code. Then I tried to just re-apply for a new key. Won't take that either, and YES, all the fields were filled out correctly. Didn't have this truble a year a go when we first got Avast and applied for the key. Waht the heck is going on? Until the matter is resolved I can't update my virus protection.
I even sent off an email to support and they didnt help me at all. I gave them info to search for my request and they said they couldn't find my initial attempt at a renew, then told me to try again. While I have tried numerous times to day but yet I still can't do anything.

Cher, did you check your system date/time?
Did you clean (empty) your browser cache before using the 3 letter code?

P.S. Alwil team, time to change/improve the registration procedure

Ok, here's what we did to finally just get the new key. We had to click on the SSL secure link because using the main form page doesn't work, nor did the renew page that has you just put in your email and the 3 letter code.
Now we have our reg. key and it's up and running. AWIL check your pages because they aren't working correctly.

Best procedure copy then paste. Always worked for the old polonus.

Unfortunatley on the new registration page, you can't use copy and paste as the three letters are an image not text.
