Hi, I have Windows 7 ultimate, and a brand new computer. I am unable to download lots of things off the internet, like google earth. It will start the download very fast, and then just stops, and eventually fails. I am also unable do download adobe updates, lot's of you tube videos etc.
I was thinking it's probably because of the virus protection, because somethings just download fine, but others never will.

Well... it could be a lot of things...
We will need more information to be able to help you:
- What avast! version and VPS file (virus database) number?
- Do you use a firewall? Which one?
- Do you have any other antivirus installed in your system? Did you have in the past?
- Any other security programs that could interfere?
