maxthon 3 add too browser protection

Can Maxthon 3 be added too browser protection as it would be great as i use maxthon more than my google chrome these days because its faster.

I rather doubt that this is likely as any inclusion is likely to be based on market share, e.g. is it worthwhile for avast to do the work to include it. A very long time ago I used to use Maxathon, but I don't know how this would play with the browser protection as isn't is still just a skin over the IE browser engine ?

Just wondered as its  a popular browser because of its 200 % speed over chrome  and having the sbility too snap the youtube video windows out. I think it uses chrome and ie engines.

Also will avast protection still work with Maxthon 3 ?
