Sorry but that isn't conclusive as if this is a conflict which is possible also, then moving one part of a conflict will break the conflict, but it won't be able to say exactly what was the cause.
avast scans and alerts to infection but it doesn't block and certainly doesn't generate access denied errors for anything other than its own files, registry entries and services, etc.
So there has to be something else in the mix, what that is, is going to be the difficult part and you have to say exactly what services you were trying to change, because the avast self-defence module doesn't suffix the access denied message with "You may need to log on using an Administrator account to make the specified changes." As Administrator or not, it wouldn't let you change avast related services (and as you say they weren't avast services, but that is the one highlighted in your image).
