I'm testing something and all i have is Network Shield installed. But now i'm wondering if rootkit protection is still active or do i have to run Standard Shield to have anti-rootkit functionality?
Thx

Well does it run 8 minutes after boot as normal, check the C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\DATA\log\aswAr.log and see if it is updated.

It's run only on-demand as far I know and David said. Normal scanning or 8 minutes after booting.
