Uninstalling Avast 5 gives: Windows - No Disk :error spamm

First tried uninstalling via Add/Remove programs then tried the avast uninstaller tool which only works in safe mode btw, also removed all avast registry entries and still I get spammed with this message in windows.

I googled the error and this seems to be a problem when uninstalling other brands of Anti Virus aswell. I have tried some of the solutions offered from googling yet still your software refuses to leave my system without breaking it.

Hi

Its a general windows error message that pops up on the screen with cancel try again or continue, except if you choose any option it just comes back a few seconds later endlessly.

Windows - No Disk
Exception processing message yada yada yada.

Still no joy from googling, which ever way I try and remove avast it leaves this problem in its wake.
