A Professional Virus or Spyware...??
« on: July 05, 2010, 06:46:18 PM »
A smart virus/spyware that it was not detected by Avast or any other Anti-Spyware. This smart virus/spyware is smart because it blocks all my programs including internet explorer, accept the programs that was open before the virus/spyware got inside. I did a scan with avast, but it didn't detected as a virus, i also did a scan with System Protector (a Anti-Spyware) but it didn't detected as a spyware. This virus has random names when is inside the computer. Please help, i got this virus/spyware 5 times on my computer, and it make me to reboot my computer to its original state 5 times. This virus/spyware is a Anti-Virus called Software Anti-Virus, sometimes is called AV Security Suite. Is a fake anti-virus that blocks anything in your computer and it only wants your to buy the product. Like i said this virus/spyware changes name when it gets inside. I don't really remember the file names of this Virus/Spyware, i only got a chance to write one of its names. The file name is called "mhrilcwtssd.exe". Oh and it also blocks the task manager. Please help with this  "Professional" virus/spyware. I did a little research on this virus/spyware, on this research it says is a spyware. Here is the link to the information:

http://www.wiki-security.com/wiki/Parasite/AVSecuritySuite

Here is another link for those people don't believe in Wiki  :) :

http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-av-security-suite.html

Will please help with this smart virus/spyware, it will help a lot of people in the world that has this problem. Plus your products would be much popular and stronger. I love Avast, but with this virus/spyware that got inside my computer 5 times, i sometimes thinking to find a better Anti-Virus or a Anti-Spyware. So please help...?

oh OK thank you. One more thing if i have Avast and that Anti-Malware install on my computer, will it conflict each other. What about my Anti-Spyware program, i have Avast and a Anti-Spyware install on my computer. But then i would have 3 programs, if i install that Anti-Malware, is it bad to have all those 3. If yes which one do you recommend me ...??

We wouldn't be recommending options/solutions that would conflict or be harmful to your computer, certainly not without any appropriate comment.

I see that systweak.com is blocked by my HOSTS file:
http://hosts-file.net/?s=systweak.com&x=29&y=8 <== • FSA - sites engaged in the selling or distribution of bogus or fraudulent applications

This classification is assigned to site's being used for the distribution of "rogue" security or other such applications, for example: SpyFalcon, SpywareQuake, AdwareAlert etc.

I prefer Malwarebytes.
