Sorry, only English I can talk...

Can you try to repair your installation?
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast! antivirus > Remove.
Then choose Repair function in the popup window (Repair).
You must be connected to the internet while repairing.

If this does not help, can you uninstall / boot / install / boot again?

Which is your Windows? 98, Me, XP?
Do you use any other antivirus in your computer?

:) Sometimes RPC "errors" can be "corrected" by use of the
DCOMbobulator" from www.grc.com/dcom !? It would be
used to "disable" your "DCOM" .

This is rather new for me... what's the relationship between the two Windows Services, RPC and DCOM?

I think it is a clutching at straws moment as it is obviously not a DCOM exploit issue. I also don't see the relationship to RPC, yes there were exploits for both DCOM & RPC they were both patched by MS and that would be integral with XP.

The RPC error is a Tech said usually related to a previous (not fully uninstalled) or existing occurance of another AV.

Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.2.6105 (build 24.2.8918.824) UI 1.0.799/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

Or any program that monitors services and startup items like WinPatrol...

Befoe Avast I have try KAV and after NAV but now thy are uninstalled ( fully? I don't know, I haven't
see in regitrer-base.
For DCOM and Zebprotect apparently they can close the port 135 named "port 135 RPC" in zebprotect
and Dcom can close the DCOM port. But I don't know how to see if they are really closed.
Need I see registrer-base if another AV is not fully uninstalled? Or re-install XP Pro SP2 or/and re-format
drive C: before (bad solution for me: one week of work for re-install all my softs and sessions).

Try what David post, but if nothing works, you will lose less time and have less headaches not starting installing KAV and NAV before avast.
