Is this rootkit dangerous
« on: August 04, 2013, 07:17:47 AM »
Hi,

I scanned my computer using AVAST and it says that C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache\dwil1033.dll
is a threat. Is that really the case? I have heard that not all rootkits are malicious. I did not have this problem before. When I try to delete it it says action postponed till next reboot but it does not delete it. When I try to move it to the chest It says : ERROR the request is not supported (50). What should I do?

thank you

we need the logs from adwclener, mbam, otl, aswmbr.

a malware expert will help you from there.
