System error message at windows start up
« on: February 06, 2014, 07:26:56 PM »
When windows boots I get a message MSVCR80.dll is missing. Then APSDaemon.exe- system error. Then I got a iTunes.exe Errot 7 (windows error 126) and it told me to uninstall and reinstall iTunes.

Anybody have any info?

Hi,

If you are looking for malware/virus help. Go here and attach the logs MBAM/OTL/aswMBR

**If you're using Windows 8/8.1/8.2 aswMBR is not usable**

Guide for Logs: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0

If you aren't after help, try googling it, although the logs may help pinpoint the issues.

Ran malwarebytes quick scan.  Removed all and rebooted.  Still have message on start up: APSDaemon.exe- system error, MSCVR80.dll file missing, try reinstalling...
Log attached.

MSCVR80.dll is not present on your system you need to download it.  Reading on Apple there is a solution here  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
