Registration renewal notice 11 months early?
« on: August 04, 2012, 02:23:39 PM »
I renewed my license for Avast Internet Security last month.  The renewal date is clearly listed as July 8, 2013.  Today is August 4, 2013.  I just got the red YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WILL EXPIRE IN TWO DAYS box.

They say a picture's worth a thousand words:

So what's going on?

I'll add that the summary screen still shows the original expiration date of August 5.  When I installed the .avastlic file a month ago, apparently only parts of the program got the memo that it had been upgraded.

I know you mean today is August 4th 2012.

Try a repair of avast:
Vista, win7 - Control Panel, Programs & Features, uninstall a program, select 'avast! Anti-Virus,' click the Uninstall/Change and select Repair, click next and follow.

You may need to reboot after the repair.

This has in the past resolved this out of sync issue between reported and actual version.

I believe he has, if his image is to be believed as it shows the win7 system date screen.
