I read a post saying that the new update 5.1.889 solved the compatibility issues with nProtect Game Guard. https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=69305.0 This update didn't help me because I'm still having compatibility issues. The games that I play are called Grand Chase and AVA, which both uses nProtect Game Guard. I've tried turning all shields off while I play, including the firewall. The only way i could play is if I completely uninstall avast. Avast please fix this.

tried Grand Chase and no problem here (XP), what's your OS? 32-bit or 64-bit?

I have Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit, both games AVA from ijji and Grand Chase from Ntreev don't work. Whenever I start the game up, gameguard says error 72, failed to initialize gameguard. When I turned off all shields and firewall to start it up, it still said the same thing. The only way i could play is if I uninstall avast. It worked perfectly when avast was uninstalled. No, i can't get into the login screen :(

Gameguard issue seem to mostly come into play with Windows 32 bits systems.
I really hope Avast! stops correcting Gameguard issues and inform their loyal and hopefully knowledgeable base spam INCA Internet Gameguard with emails to stop hacking their systems.
