avast is not recognized by ZoneAlarm 5.0.590.015?

Why avast is not recognized as an antivirus application by ZoneAlarm 5.0.590.015 version?  :'(  :'(  :'(

I'll try with NOD32 and i'll report back. Strange they didn't impliment support for such great AV (avast!). Alwil team should mail them asap!

Well i think its not so critical. NOD32 also isn't recognized and its the one of the best AVs available. Something is strange about this. I saw some McAfee and Norton only text around...

ZAF setup refused to install the program 'cause I have installed eTrust and KPF on my machine. I uninnstalled them and installed ZAF, after that it  showed that I have no AV on my machine, so I tried to install etrust again and ZAF detected it after I restarted my pc without any alerts

I temporarily installed to see for myself and I have more bad news. F-Secure is not detected either!

You should also be aware that ZA has been bought out by another company but I forget the name. This may have some bearing on why it does not detect avast! in the new version.      

I see the downfall of ZA coming.    :'(

If you use the free Zone Alarm this is why

I had a Pro version on the test and the thing didn't detect NOD32 or avast! either.

I had a trial version of the pro and it did not find F-Secure Antivirus 2004, Avast4.1 or Bit defender free
