And viruses get caught?
If so, I recommend permanently shutting down the Internet Mail provider. There's still a problem somewhere as the Outlook/Exchange plugin should tell the Internet Mail provider to ignore the requests coming from Outlook - so we'll have to look into this. But turning off the Interner Mail provider is a good work around in your case.

Thanks

I think you should try updating the aswTdi.sys driver. It may solve the problem. Please see http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=11;action=display;threadid=8786;start=msg73240#msg73240 for details on how to do this.

BTW - can you tell us more about your DrWeb installation?

Thanks
Vlk

DrWeb appears to be an Anti Virus Program.
Take a look HERE.

The difference is that full blown Avast Home is free whereas Dr. Web is paid for any versions.

Avast Home does not trigger false positive alarms, which was why I started using it. Now , I am in the testing stage, to see if one catches something that the other does not. The professor at my local school sugggested Avast. Great job!

Avast Home does not trigger false positive alarms...

Ok, not so often but from time to time we have the disgustings false positives...
I don't do such a harm if you send the file to Chest and, after the virus database is corrected, restore it  8)

Then you have been lucky.
All Technical is trying to tell you is that it can and has happened and because of that, the safest course of action is to place the suspected file into the virus chest. I clean the chest weekly if there is anything in there along with my regular system maintenance.
