Decided to make this post since actual instructions are nowhere to be found.
In case you decide to delete your files on avast server and not willing to sync.
- Locate your files on your computer (taskbar icon > options>user data>explore folder) (or use backup whichever way) and move them somewhere else on hard drive (first make sure you remember easypass login and password)
- Click on avast Easypass Taskbar icon and choose > Sync > Delete state Files
- Next CLick on Easypass Taskbar icon and choose Options, window will popup
- On left Menu click USER DATA
- then you will see Synchronization, click Settings. This will give you option to re-synch everything with avast.
- Choose "synch with existing Avast! easypass...."
- It will give you option to choose which set of files win (overwrite)
- (a) Choose My Computer files, and since you don't have any files on local because you moved them, this will delete files on server.
*8. (b) There is show more or advanced button as well and will show blue direction arrow meaning which way to write files, server to local or local to server. you can choose local to server by clicking the cloud icon on top right. and on bottom DELETE selection also be there. choose that if you go advanced way.
