Local mirror in linux for avast users

I'am the administrator of a University's campus; we have a wifi network for public access.
looking at our logs, lot's of users use avast antivirus in their (private) machines.

I wan to redirect ther avast update querys to a local server which holds a mirror of the original avast update server.

is there any way to do this, note that we do not have access to the user's computers because they are not property of this institution.
