This seems to be missing in the console and only available in UI. Please say I am wrong- when a badly infected pc is found, we would like to schedula a boot time scan on it from the console. Can anyone help?

You don't create a job for that, you must go to the group settings. There you'll find an option to plan a boot-time scan.
