LOGFILES and REPORTS folders
« on: July 10, 2012, 11:04:52 PM »
Hello all!

This is a really not so important question, but more of an organizational question. When Avast loaded onto my computer, it put two folders on my desktop without asking me where I want to keep them. I really do not want the LOGFILES and REPORTS folders on my desktop, but desire to keep them in my Documents folder. I have searched the entire Avast interface, and found utterly NO WAY to move them where Avast can still find them and document logs and reports. Can anyone tell me how to move them where I want them? Thanks!

Mine aren't on my desktop (see below) are you sure these aren't shortcuts (but I don't have any shortcuts either) ?

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software\Avast\log for XP.
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software\Avast\report

Or C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\... if using Vista/win7
