Avast Icon Appearance
« on: August 04, 2012, 08:34:49 PM »
I notice that the Avast Icon in the bottom right of my screen (OK I forget the terminology - who cares?) now has white dots on top of it as though it has been snowing - is this significant? My old system is being slowed down incredibly by Avast and sometimes fails to boot on the first attempt (WinXP and AMD 2500+ desktop). I did have a Trojan that Avast picked up when I put a USB stick in the slot from someone else's PC. Have since doe a full scan, downloaded Avast sw again and loaded it on top of the old one then done another full system scan - found nothing. Any suggestions (other than updating my old PC) ?
