avast! 8.0.1 GUI Bug (Youtube link included).
« on: March 11, 2013, 07:13:23 PM »
Avast! is another program on my PC that exhibits this behaviour.
Oddly enough, the program that I used to record and edit the YouTube video has the same GUI problem as avast! when using Windows 'Snap To' function.

What is the full program version, the latest is 8.0.1483 ?

Your signature still shows avast 7 and not the full build number.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

Sorry I'm not familiar with this snap to function or if avast complies to it, outside of snap to, you can only reduce the size of avast to a certain size.

So I suspect that this may be the issue the snap to 50% may be lower than the minimum avastUI size, so if that is the case it would be a bug, but I don't know if it would be that easy to resolve.

Personally I have always said the UI is too big and I would like to reduce it to smaller than what is currently allowed.
