Disable alerts

I have a problem. When I download email messages and avast fond a virus, a window appear and a siren sound inform me that a virus was found.
If avast found 40 messages containing viruses then the same thing happen 40 times.
How can I disable alerts?
I'm evaluating avast pro but I can't find a way to disable that hurting thing!
I want simply that when avast found a virus on an email the email has to be deleted.

Is that possible?

To disable avast sounds:
Go to "settings" --> Sounds --> check "disable avast sounds"

Tasks --> resident protection --> properties --> ok --> virus --> choose action

Editing the task is possible only in the Professional version of avast!; for the Home version, you may use "Silent mode" of the respective provider, which moves the infected message to Chest.
