Can't Run Firefox Sandboxed
« on: July 09, 2013, 05:30:35 PM »
In Windows XP, I accidentally tried to update Firefox while it was running in the sandbox (which I know doesn't work) and now whenever I try to run Firefox sandboxed it comes up with the message: "Couldn't load XPCOM" and doesn't open. I have tried reinstalling Firefox but it still doesn't work.

Thank you in advance for any help with this problem.

Try this:
- Open avast
- Click on tools
- Click on Sandbox
- Click on settings
- Choose web browsers
- Delete contents

You may have to reboot after that. I got a feeling the problem you have is with a saved file/setting and this mehod could solve it.
