2. You might get some marginal DeepScreen scanning even without reputation services, but generally yes - reputation services can be considered as required for the DeepScreen to work properly.
3. Yes, right now it's deployed for on-exec scanning only.

Yes, it certainly works even in avast! Free (just as AutoSandbox did in previous versions).

you mean executed files

4 so deep screen  sandboxes  files automatically  in background

so the sandbox is built into avast with no setting required

3. Yes, I mean executing Windows executable files.
4. Yes, but it performs further processing, not just the sandboxing.

This should help... 1) How to get to help.
                              2) Deepscreen (from in program help file).
Dell Inspiron, Win7x64 SP1, Pentium Dual-Core, 6 GB Ram, Avast Free 2014.9.0.2018, Comodo Firewall 5.12 w/D+, MalwareBytes Premium 2.0, MCShield, Super Anti-Spyware Free, SpywareBlaster, Bitdefender TrafficLight, OpenDNS Premium, Keyscrambler Personal,  PrivDog. CCleaner, Greenshot, Firefox (latest build) and, Google Chrome (latest build).

When you do something, do it with a purpose and do it on purpose.

Yes, some more information about the file (let's call it "characteristics", or "features") may also be included.
