How can I change back to "Home Network" in "Network and Sharing Center"?

While the port problem hasn't been solved, I have encounter another one.
The active network appears to be "Home Network", however it is the "Public Network" which is active actually.
I tried changing back by using the below method,

disabled avast firewall,
disabled avast shields,
disabled both avast! anti-virus and avast! firewall services,
but to no avail.

The only way I could succeed is to remove Avast Internet Security using the removal tool.
Please help.

No, it hasn't been fixed.
The problem keeps coming back after I have corrected it.

Same here with my W7 pc.
More , I can't see anymore my others pc in my network -> it's empty network.
I lost my workgroup (MSHOME) in 2 wxp pcs.
