Retry of ADNM without msde Demo Install
« on: December 20, 2005, 05:09:15 PM »
Hello,  I have had problems installing the demo version of ADNM, setting it up with the sql database.  I uninstalled it and on attempting to re-install,  I have the error

" Licenses for the following products are missing or invalid:
AV_NETC
PLease make sure you are using the correct license file."

Can just downloading a new installation file fix this problem?

Thanks

I'd definitely try to download the latest version. There has been a problem in one of the previous versions related to the generation of the DEMO license.

Please let me know if the problem persists even with the latest setup program.

Thanks!

Hello,

I downloaded the latest version but still the same problem,

it is looking at the license file in this directory
'C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\2\_av_sfx.tm~a01072\license.dat'

Has that got anything to do with it it?

Hi,

Im still having the same problem with the License File, I've uninstalled everything, but still get the same error.  'Wrong License data file'

Please can you help?

I could attach the log file if this helps?

Or better send that file (the license.dat file generated in the temp folder) to the address forejt@avast.com, with a link to this thread in the message body.

Thanks
