Ghostery for Firefox 2.5.2 will rock your world with our new feature: Cookie Blocking.
http://news.ghostery.com/2011/02/24/new-and-improved-ghostery-for-firefox-2-5-2/

I'm waiting to see this new feature comes to Chrome too!

I used to have Ghostery and I can't recall why I removed it, but it would only be removed it weren't doing the job or I really didn't need it or was a pain in the rear.

I suspect the latter, given the action when you simply try to visit that link, things like this make me avoid anyone that tries this type of practice. If I want to subscribe I will do it voluntarily if I feel the content is worth it, but when they try to foist it on you no way.

You have had said your removed it because it caused something like a shutdown problem or something like that, I don't remember exactly, well, anyone this is just an add-on and working fine in my Chrome and FF, I've not and will not try the IE/Safari addon of that.

1. yea that would be what I would consider a pain in the rear if it messing with shutdown ;D

2. Don't you get that pop-up wanting to subscribe to a live bookmark ?
If not presumably you already have subscribed at some point.

I got no pop-up in Chrome or FF and that blog is not bookmarked or subscribed. I guess I did not get that popup because I've their addon installed.

Please, do not use images hosted in imageshack.us here in forums.
It could be not being displayed in many computers.

Wow, that looks like a big mistake being made by whoever runs Imageshack. I certainly wouldn't be uploading anything there any more that I wanted to link somewhere. I use Photobucket for that and it still works---for now---lol

New in Gmail Labs: Smart Labels

http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2011/03/new-in-gmail-labs-smart-labels.html

Quote
Smart Labels automatically categorizes incoming Bulk, Notification and Forum messages, and labels them as such. “Bulk” mail includes any kind of mass mailing (such as newsletters and promotional email) and gets filtered out of your inbox by default (where you can easily read it later), “Notifications” are messages sent to you directly (like account statements and receipts), and email from group mailing lists gets labeled as “Forums”.

A tool that you can use to quickly control UAC.

UAC Controller Tool is a most handy and easy to use application specially designed to make UAC managing a lot easier. Use this tool to control and change UAC settings from the tray area when required.

I'm sure you could have found a larger one if you tried ;D

Whilst I don't use Chrome, I think the old one was better.

Not sure I would call this interesting or system news either.

Now 34000 feet in the air on my way back and have to agree with you.
It's as interesting and as system related as my comment.  ;D

Not to seem un-initiated/ or silly but if you're 34,000 ft in the air ( or 10,000 m) and you are using the Internet, I find that very interesting. :o

Sorry for diverging from the threads intended purpose.  :-[
