My trip to Alwil Software...
« on: September 26, 2006, 02:00:51 AM »
Hi guys, I'm back from a one-week honeymoon trip with my wife Katerina.
We got married on September 16th, in our hometown Thessaloniki (Greece).  :-*
We spent 3 1/2 days in Prague (Chech Republic) and another 3 1/2 days in Vienna (Austria).  :)

I informed Igor (with whom I worked on some corrections on the translation of avast! in Greek language) about our trip there and he was kind enough to allow us to visit avast!'s headquarters.  8)

You can see the building, located in Prubezna Street, here --> http://www.asw.cz/office1.jpg

Igor showed us the offices (http://www.asw.cz/office2.jpg) and we met all the nice guys working there, including Ondrej ("vlk") and Pavel who we all now from this forum. I even managed to see  :o something very revealing about alwil's new "secret project", about which I will say no more  :-X - except if you pay me in cash with a sum that has a lot of zeroes in the end  ;D .

After that, vlk & Igor offered us dinner at a nearby restaurant which served Italian food.  :D
They even walked with us to the nearest Tram station and gave us usefull information about how not to get lost.  :P

I just want to take this opportunity to say
THANK YOU !!!
to all the wonderfull people there, especially Igor and Vlk, who were not only perfect hosts but are also very kind people. We really enjoyed your hospitality. Hope we'll meet again someday...

Here are a few pictures:

Wow what an amazing trip! And to visit the avast! headquarters, you are extremely lucky. As for the avast! "Secret Project" I will wait until they are ready to tell us, that way I have something to look forward to 8)

Thank you for your wishes  :)

@ Vlk:
Oh, sorry for that - but did you ask me  ??? :-[ Maybe you did but my English is not anywhere near perfect...  :-\
Well, if you ever go to Chalkidiki you'll have to come to Thessaloniki first, I'll show you around town if you want. Thanks again!
