Error in event log with fresh install, help please !!

I have just had to reinstall windows and i am having some new problems with Avast

Can somebody help me out with this please?

Error in the event log is -

This is a known issue that will be corrected in next program update, if I'm not wrong.

No, it's quite new one. ACCESS_VIOLATION code with fresh VPS.

This error is related to anti-rootkit scan during system load only. Any other operations will not be affected. In principle this anti-rootkit scan can be disabled via Troubleshooting section.
Probably to resolve this issue some additional info from you should be required. But precise instructions can be done by Alwil stuff.

Thanks, I've disabled the antiroot kit for now and that does seem to have stopped the error reports.

I spoke to soon still getting the errors on boot even with rootkit scan on system startup disabled

It was reported that this error arised only after latest 080405 VPS update. The system suffered from this error was the same which had previously internal errors in the aswar module A000010E and 00000001. Previous VPS update 080404 didn't show this error.

Decided to join you guys cause this seems to be an excellent place to get info.  :)

So, I just checked my events and I also have the same error message:

Windows XP MCE
I now have VPS version 080405-1, old was VPS version 080405-0...

Is there fix-update scheduled for this...?

Seems there are a number of threads on this subject but until we get an answer or the forum admins / mods consolidate the threads I guess I'll just keep posting in my own.

Still getting the same error message on system boot after latest update -

Build - 4.8.1169
VPS - 080407-0

VPS 080407-1 (out now) has solved the problem
