Test memory?

Hi,
What is TEST MEMORY DURING APPLICATION START-UP...can I uncheck that or just leave it checked?

During startup applications are loaded into memory and the default option is for avast to scan them and I would suggest you leave it as it is. See image, extract from avast help file, Settings, Common page.
