Today I found a new screen saver called avast antivirus in my computer Can you tell me what the avast antivirus screen saver does

Avast screen saver will scan your computer(just like doing a normal on-demand scan) when the screen saver is on. The difference is the avast screen saver will not continue scan if the screen saver is out.

Yep - but it does remember where it was the next time it comes on (unless you reboot)

Two things make me stick with avast!

The update comes in as soon as my computer boots up in the morning

The screensaver scan
