Windows Firewall with Suite

IIRC during the beta is was recommended to leave the Winows firewall on. Is this the case with the final release? Also, I remember that it was mentioned that Pro license holders of version 4.X MIGHT get a discounted upgrade price to get the Security Suite. Anyone word on that?  ;D

For Pro yes.

For AIS, unsure but I believe AIS version uses and controls windows firewall as well as the internal avast firewall

Upgrades discounts... yet to be determined but likely.

That's kind of what I figured with the Avast FW, since the install does not disable the Windows one during install. Still not 100% sure but, thanks for the replys.

Can we get official word on whether or not to manually disable the Windows Firewall when using aIS?

Something like this is pretty important so I'd really appreciate a definitive answer from someone who is positive.

Many thanks,
ALIV

Ditto. An answer from some one at avast!
Not some "maybe yes maybe no" posts from forum posers.

Very simple:  AIS5... Windows firewall, on or off?

Thank you.
