Exactly WHERE is v5.0.396?

Hey Alwil -

I don't ask much.  So far -- well to v4.8 anyway -- you've given us a good solid AV, easy to reach, not too slow on download.

NOW, however, v5...  well, it sucks.  .377 is missing the MSV*90.dll packs, and I cannot find .396.  CNET doesn't have it, as of a few minutes ago -- I just downloaded 40.1MB and installed it to find out.

Look: I gave up programming many years ago.  But I still remember the basics -- establish a To-Do list, and revise it often.  Establish a reliable distribution point, and hold it accountable.  Preferably distribute from in-house...  And make sure out-sourced resources are included in ALL distributions.  Revise the To-Do list again.

So, where, exactly, is .396?

@ Rumpel & @ mikhalek - no, I want to keep the download.  I almost never use the update feature on any apps.

As it happens, .396 also doesn't work too good, details in a new thread.
