Strange new device update for avast

What is this? Why is Windows 7 looking for a driver update?
I'm using the latest version and try to manually update.

The search occurs after a wake up from sleep.

the driver probably failed loading when your system woke up from sleep mode, which would explain win update attempting to find a replacement. Not sure Win Update wanted to update anything, but probably as I just said install a needed driver...and obviously didn't find any. Did your firewall run properly when this happened?

 may be off topic but could be related to a driver issue: I've got an issue off and on, having to wait about thirty seconds before I can connect to anything when the system resumes from sleep mode. Doesn't happen when either the firewall service is deactivated (by me) before sending the system to sleep mode. And while I got to wait for the connection to be back, there's no sign that I'm disconnected >>> taskbar network icon is normal, everything in network management is normal, wi-fi is on etc...just my browsers and my email client refuse to connect to anything during 30 secs.

Yes, connection is ok. I'm not sure this isn't related to the Virtual Box virtualized network.

I'm tried internet search on oem30.PNF but  best leave you to do what you feel best.

Yes Tech, still working here, thanks for asking, and I've prepared quite a bunch of fixes in the firewall for the beta version. Don't have anything to say about this issue right now. Can you describe what happened? Ok, you have resumed from sleep, that this dialog appears, than what?

Then I got the error (screenshot-13) and then it does not occur anymore.
Into Device Manager, everything is looking fine. No driver errors. No device with problems.
Into the Properties of the network connection, avast is listed there (as well as VirtualBox and VirtualPC).
I can't reproduce the error (not that I want to ).
I don't think we have anything more to do...

OK I have no idea if this is related to the issues in this thread: I get, rarely, after a reboot, a message popping up from the taskbar tray telling that " a software driver failed to install", without any details. This has happened about three times already; not other symptom, Avast runs fine when it happens.

Any other virtual environment?
Isn't it the driver for the virtual network?
Were you connected to Internet at startup?

no virtual box here; and as said, I have no idea what this alert I sometimes have is about, no detail about what driver it is at all...it's just saying that a software driver failed to install (Internet is fine at normal startup, just an issue with sleep mode and probably the firewall, as described above).
