Is there any estimated time on when Avast 5.1 is due?

Hey All,

Is there any estimated time on when Avast 5.1 is due?

The reason I ask, is that I want to update a friend's computer to the 5.1 from the 4.8 version and would like to only do the upgrading process once, if possible.

Of course, I know the standard answer is when it's ready, but an ETA would be nice.

As far i know, Avast 5.1 Beta version will be released soon... keep checking Avast forum because one thread with the download and Change log of the beta version of 5.1 will be created before the final release.

And you don't have to wait for 5.1 to update your friend's Avast!...
Download avast free/pro/internet security 5.0 and your friend can easily update by the GUI when the final version of 5.1 is released.
