Since last update of Avast free edition 3 days ago, Avast is detecting generation of 2 malwares when I launch Impulse program ( the games download platform )The malwares seems to be created in C:\Users\Jacques\AppData\Local\Temp. And there is two of these created each time I launch Impulse. They are tagged as Win32:Malware-gen by Avast. And seems to come from NetFramework process.Names of potential malware change with each launch from Impulse bmhnpyaa.dll or hn8n_mia.dll are examples. Is it true virus or only a bad configuration from Avast protection system and these dll are armless and used by Impulse ?
As I say this problem appeared since last Avast free update.
I'm a bit worried about being infected, I have desinstalled and reinstalled Impulse and detection from Avast persist. My OS is windows seven ultimate 64 bit.
If someone can give me some answer about what to do now I would be grateful

you can test the file(s) here with 43 malware scanners  www.virustotal.com  (max 20mb)
when you have the result, copy the url in the addressbar and post it here so we can see the result

check your computer for malware with this

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.50.1 http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
always update the program so you have lates database before you scan
click the remove selected button to quarantine any infections found
you may post the scan log here

you can upload the file(s) to avast for analysis
send to   virus @ avast . com   in a password protected zip.file
subject: false positive and zip password: infected

you may add a link to this topic in the mail

So I checked my computer and there was no malware detected.

And I mailed two samples of the .dll detected as malware.

As I can see, it seems to be false positive. Happy to see that my computer isn't infected afterall

So is this confirmed as a false positive then? I'm getting the exact same thing when I launch Impulse as well, but I also get it randomly at other times. Is it just a false positive with certain .NET Framework applications? And are the random .dll filenames normal?

You will have to wait for the next virus definitions update and see if it is corrected for you.

I don't know if it is specific to any particular version of .net, you would have to check which .net version Impulse uses and if it generates randomly named .dll files.
