We have been using Deep Freeze on our students netbook. It locks all files, which means when it is rebooted, it goes back to original profile. The problem is that habits that expose our child to viruses aren't seen until it is too late. We can "unfreeze" the drive image and install Avast! but it won't be updated unless we go through the unfreeze/update/refreeze process. Can Avast! program and files be installed/stored on the "thawed" space, "T" Drive (that isn't reverted when rebooted)?
