site problem: avast v5 download url results in v6 download? :(

Until v6 stabilizes a bit more i'm still using and recommending v5 to my friends, however the problem is that the url for downloading the v5 installer is actually serving the v6 installer:

http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/setup_av_free.exe

Is there an official download url on avast.com for the v5 installer, v5.1.889 or do i have to use filehippo's archive for that one?

You will have to use filehippo if you want older version's, the 6.0 releases are more stable tham the 5.0 versions as well.
Have you tried the new  prerelease 6.0.1021.

build 1021 not yet, but after finishing reading all those 9 pages of the pre-release thread it seems it has a few additional bugs in addition to build 1000 so i'm not going to touch it.
