Another negative point to Microsoft. You can't remove it... Like with Windows Defender...
Shame on Microsoft configurability.

I just want Microsoft listen the users.

Well, most likely, this will never happen, if it is against their corporate policy. ;)
The EU had to run a major lawsuit against MS to get (halfway) rid of IE in Europe...

What makes you think you can remove IE ???

Just try Control panel > Add or remove programs > Add/remove windows components > tick off Internet Explorer

Wrong, all that does is remove the browser element. IE is deeply embedded into the OS, which is why you have to keep it up to date.

IE is used to display lots of things in the OS, windows explorer, folder views use it, help files us it and there are a whole slew of other things that use it.

Tips:

Since Windows Update requires the use of Internet Explorer, manual updates will no longer be possible. Automatic updates, if enabled, should continue unaffected.

Even though you may be disabling Internet Explorer, you are not actually removing it. Your Windows XP PC still uses Internet Explorer for a number of internal processes.

Keep in mind that updates related to Internet Explorer will still need to be performed because IE is still on your PC.

Answer: Unfortunately, there is no safe method to remove Internet Explorer from Windows XP.

Internet Explorer is more than just a browser. It works as an underlying technology behind a number of internal Windows XP processes including updating, basic Windows functionality and more.

Ultimately, following the instructions at the Microsoft site drops you back to IE6 after removing IE8 and IE7 progressively.

AMD A6-5350M APU with Radeon HD Graphics, 8.0GB RAM, Win7 Pro SP1 64bit, IE11
i7-3610QM 2.3GHZ, 8.0GB Ram,  Nvidia GeForce GT 630M 2GB, Win7 Pro SP1 64bit, IE 11
Common to both: Avast Premium Security 19.7.2388, WinPatrol Plus, SpywareBlaster 5.5, Opera 12.18, Firefox 68.0.2, MBam Free, CCleaner

What makes you think you can remove IE ???

Just try Control panel > Add or remove programs > Add/remove windows components > tick off Internet Explorer
You can not do that if you have IE9 installed in Windows 7 nor on XP Pro on my system as I just tried.

IE6 is not supported any more.

Update to at least IE8.

I agree.

Don't know about IE 9, but anyway I did it on my XP Pro SP3... Now it disabled accessible to IE 6, no quick launch icon, desktop etc. where places that users get access to IE. So with no icon users won't try to access web through IE, that's what I meant removing. (But 'iexplore.exe' is hidden and use for the other purposes of OS like help files etc.)

Cheers...

You most certainly can and could remove IE in Vista too.  In Control Panel > Add Remove > Turn Windows Features On/Off just tick the IE8/9 box and remove access to the browser.  (IE9 can also be removed as an update and you return to IE8. )
