AVast webshield falsely block local weather site radar

Avast webshield pops up suspicious file blocked thing while accessing interactive rada feature on local nbc station weather. Never happened before just today.

or go to www.wistv.com, then click weather and interactive radar to replicate the issue.
Please fix it as it ia a genuine site, not suspicious site.

OK, this look like an FP on Google Maps API or is very similar to a few similar detections on SWF:Chainer [Heur], see a copy of my post on a similar detection.

You can also use the new on-line contact form, http://www.avast.com/contact-form.php?loadStyles for:  * Sales inquiries; Technical issues; Website issues; Report false virus alert in file; Report false virus alert on website; Press (Media), issues.

- If you are reporting an FP, then you get another input filed open, click Browse button and navigate to the file or enter the web URL for the site you wish to submit for review, etc.

This way we will be approaching/attacking the FP problem from two sides. You could also give the URL for this topic in your report.

Thank you for the FAST fix! During development of a site using Google Maps API all of a sudden I was getting Suspicious Item Detected. It's fixed now that I updated my AVS definitions.
