Command line scanner
« on: November 12, 2004, 11:49:31 AM »
I am new to awast and are testing out the pro version.
I am currently running the demo version.

I am trying to use the Command line scanner, but can't find it.
Shouldn't it be called ashCmd.exe?

Thansk for q quick reply, but I think not.

It is not there, could it be that it will appear after I register Avast PRO?

I'm not sure... It should be there as you're using the Trial version. But it's possible.
Can you try to repair your installation?
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast! antivirus > Remove
Then choose Repair function in the popup window.

The Pro version (even the trial) has this file; the Home version does not. Are you sure you installed the right version?

Now I got the Command Line Scanner Working ;D
However, I need my software to interpret the log-file automatically.

Does a description of the log file from the Command Line Scanner exist?
