[SOLVED] - Problem starting Console
« on: February 08, 2012, 05:08:34 PM »
Hello,

I had this error when I tried to connect to the avast! admin console : "unable to connect to website".

I checked the services and both was stopped. I tried restating them and had theses errors :

- "avast! Administration Console Monitor is not a valid win32 application".
- a dependency is not started (avast! admin console)

I solved the problem by adding a double quote (") in regedit around the path of the image : "C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Administration Console\Avast.Sbc.Manager.exe"

Then the services started correctly.

I don't know why I had this problem, but it may be caused by the upgrade from a previous version of the console.

Edit : forgot to add : I have the latest version of the avast! Administration Console.
