0xe06d7363 and PC useless after update to AVAST 7...i'm going crazy

Step one

Step two once rebooted run the installer

Avast! Free Antivirus 7.0.1407

If you are preforming a clean install this should fix any problems, unless the issues is not Avast related and do to other problems on the computer.

As stated earlier, "After using aswclear.exe, deleting program folders, using a registry cleaner, and performing several clean re-installations all in safe mode with reboots in between every step[with different options], I have been unable to get avast! 7 to operate".

I am clearly not the only one having this problem; I doubt it is related to problems with our own PC's. What would cause this?

You did not them I said , their for not preforming a clean install, "deleting program folders, using a registry cleaner" should not be needed,
I would presume its a problem with the computer further and not Avast.

All of us that are presenting this problem have vastly different hardware and software configurations. Therefore, it seems logical to assume that the one similar thing in all of our PC's (avast! 7.0.1407) might, just might, be causing the problem? Wait, there might be something wrong with all of our PC's - they are executing code with a major issue.

As I said, after installation I can't do anything except to uninstall avast to remove that pop up message. I tried to kill avast process with task manager but it says can't be closed or so.
It's obviously something with new version of avast since all other versions were working like a charm.
Hope they fix it so we can use avast again. If you need my help let me know.

yeah this is happening to me, i've uninstalled it and reinstalled it multiple times, even deleted some recently added game to see if there interfering with it.... nothing. i hope they can fix it becuase it the constant reappearing message really interferes with everything. i hope they fix it soon.

Where can i reinstall avast 6? i looked on the avast website and couldnt find it(unless i didn't look hard enough). Till they fix the problem i want atleast avast running, dosen't matter what version.

In filehippo.com, select avast and then over the right side area you will see older versions. But once you seleect one older version (the page shows the older info), click on the MIRROR download, as the normal download link will not give you the version you are looking for.

Been having the same problem, made a thread about it a while ago with no solutions found.

Currently using Avast! 6 until this problem is solved.

The problem was caused by corrupted ShockWave Flash installation. It was fixed and fix wil be available in next release update.
