offline update for Linux?

hi i love your Linux antivirus
i tried it on one of the College computer on ubuntu
i found it intersting so i installed it on my machine
but how do i offline Update it ?

There is currently no way to update ur avast linux offline. this feature is only available for pc.

On Linux, maybe, you can download http://files.avast.com/files/latest/400.vps
Then, quit avast, replace your old 400.vps with the new file, and start avast again. The new database could be accepted.
