What if TA's superuser rights are removed?

So...what if a thief knows about rooted phones, opens the superuser app and "denies" every app in there just to make sure nothing is looking over his shoulder?

nothing happens. the root privileges are only needed for installation and to write settings.

So just to clarify... I root the phone, install TA as system app, write its setting and unroot the phone (because I do not need it to be rooted) and it will be working as expected?
