Title: Error with custom analysis
Post by: Irbidan on July 26, 2013, 02:25:45 PM
I have created a custom scan to analyze the \WINDOWS\ folder. I see a serious bug with the start time of the analysis (as I do mention in the screenshot).

I'm using Windows 8 64-bit and i have an 8-core AMD CPU, 8GB of RAM so i don't think it's problem of my PC speed. I'm using Avast! Free version updated.

Will the progress move eventually?

I waited for 4 or 5 minutes and analysis stills not starting.

Do you have any recent (with timestamp corresponding to when you started the scan) unpXXXXXX files (X are some numbers) in C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log folder?

It is in the C:\ProgramData\Avast Software\Avast\Log folder, you are looking in the avast Program Files folder.

I believe the folders are the same on all language versions (since Vista).
Even though Explorer might show them differently...

Yes, but since Irbidan misstook your ProgramData path for Program Files, I am just pointing him in the right direction because his explorer is in Spanish.
