I posted this message several days ago, and no one posted a response, did I post it in the wrong place?
Where should I look for help?

"I'm getting an error message, can anyone help?
When trying to scan a file using the right mouse click, I keep getting this error:
"Error: During open ATL dialog, Error number: 2".
I've already reinstalled the program.
Can anyone help? Thanks,Russell"

Rusell, sorry, this is the right place. It's just we're somewhat consumed by the updating issues now :-\ (and what's more, I'm on a trade show and connecting via GPRS with my cellphone).
Anyway, I'll get back to you asap - I'll send you a test version of the program that will output far more info. We will thus be able to find out what's going on there...

I'm also getting this error message after updating on October 8th, except mine says:
" Error:During open ATL dialog. Error number:183 "
So just the error number is different. If you found out how to fix this please let me know as well.
