The problem I have is that after I reboot I have to manually start Avast interface.
I am using Windows Vista SP 2
Avast Premier
Program version: 2015.10.0.2208
Virus definitions version: 150208.0
Number of definitions: 3'310'590
Thanks

Are you getting any errors displayed - if so what ?
Did you have another AV installed before avast Premier - if so what ?

Open the Registry (Regedit.exe) > Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run > Right click in the Blank WHITE area and choose New > String Value.
A new Key will show up Called New value #1 > Right Click > Modify > Value Data should be... C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\Avastui.exe
Rename that key too Avast! UI

Firstly I think we need to get more information before suggesting registry hacks.
I'm also not sure this is correct either as a user startup entry this normally has a switch after it for nogui so that the UI isn't displayed when using the command.

Personally I would start with installing the latest version of avast and see if that solves the problem:
